Vision FC and Heart of Lions produced an exciting 2–2 draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon, with both teams extending their unbeaten runs but missing the opportunity to secure all three points on Ghana Premier League Matchday 11.
A tight and tactical first half offered few clear-cut chances, but Lions emerged from the break with greater intent. Just two minutes into the second half, Michael Ephson capitalised on pressure inside the box to slot home the opener.
Vision responded with urgency and were rewarded in the 63rd minute when Maxwell Kwaku Sensah reacted quickest to a loose ball, smashing in the equaliser to lift the home supporters.
The goal energised the hosts, who pushed forward in search of a winner, but Lions regained momentum. In the 79th minute, Paul Atta Agyei finished off a flowing move after a precise pass from Kwadwo Obeng Junior, restoring the visitors’ lead and momentarily pushing them up the standings.
But Vision were not done. Determined to protect their impressive home form, substitute George Tei Nagadzi drilled in a composed finish in the 83rd minute, extending Vision FC’s formidable unbeaten home run to 17 league matches.
