Port City FC secured a 2-1 win over Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale in Matchweek 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
The newly promoted side claimed their second away win of the season and became the first team to beat Karela United at home this campaign.
Owusu Ansah opened the scoring for Port City in the 77th minute, putting the visitors in front.
Karela United responded through 19-year-old attacker Nyaba Iddi Mahfuz, who scored in the 85th minute to bring the home side level.
However, Owusu Ansah struck again in the 89th minute to complete his brace and secure all three points for Port City in a dramatic finish.
The victory moved Port City up to 4th place in the league table, while Karela United dropped to 13th with nine points.
Port City will look to build on the win when they travel to Tema to face Vision FC in their next match.
Karela United, meanwhile, have suffered back-to-back defeats, increasing the pressure on head coach Nurudeen Amadu.
The Tamale side will hope to return to winning ways when they travel to face Young Apostles in Matchweek 9.
