Aduana FC came from behind to beat Swedru All Blacks 2-1 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium in Dormaa in their epic Ghana Premier League match-week 5 encounter.

The ‘Ozii Ozaa’ lads made a bright start and took the lead just four minutes into the game through Williams Dankwah, putting the hosts under early pressure.

However, the homesters responded strongly and restored parity in the 35th minute through in-form striker Stephen Amankona, ensuring the teams went into the break level.

The ‘Ogya’ lads continued their push for victory after the restart, with Amankona completing his brace in the 86th minute from the penalty spot to seal all three points for the home side.

Amankona’s latest double takes his tally to four goals in his last three league matches, underlining his importance to Aduana’s attack as the season progresses.

The victory extends Aduana FC’s winning run to three consecutive league matches. They will now travel to Wenchi to face Young Apostles in their next fixture.

Swedru All Blacks, however, have now suffered their second loss of the campaign and will aim to bounce back when they host Asante Kotoko in their next league game.
