The enterprising winger is hotly being pursued by suitors and could end up joining the Baba Yara Stadium outfit on a loan basis, according to his club's chief
Abdul Aziz Issah could possibly join Asante Kotoko on loan in order to follow in the footsteps of Black Stars defender Baba Rahaman at the Kumasi-based club, claims Dreams FC General Manager Ameenu Shardow.
The 18-year-old talented winger has been a revelation in the Ghanaian top-flight, with admirers locally and internationally all believed to be gunning for his services in the current campaign.
In an interview with the local media, the Dawu-based club chief has indicated that the budding talent could be moved on to the Ghana Premier League superpower after turning down bids from suitors abroad during the January transfer window.
"It’s possible," the Black Stars team manager stated on Kessben TV when asked about the possible acquisition of the starlet by Kotoko on a loan basis. He continued, "it’s not always about money. We consider good sporting project and that is all. In January alone we had five offers for him from abroad but we declined all”.
Aziz was part of the Ghana U20 squad that won the just ended 2023 All African Games on home soil.
He has so far featured in 24 games, scoring 10 and assisting 3 in all competitions for Dreams FC this term.
