Accra Great Olympics' head coach, Jimmy Cobblah, has voiced his frustration with the match official who oversaw their week 24 fixture against the league leaders at Abrankese on Friday.
In a closely contested match in the Ghanaian Premier League, the capital giants suffered a painful 1-0 defeat.
Expressing his disappointment with the center referee's officiating, Coach Cobblah criticized the referee for influencing the outcome of the game.
"The referee came with the intention to secure a win for them. Right from the beginning, I noticed it and even informed the match commissioner and fourth referee about his bias. The officiating today was unacceptable; the whole world witnessed our boys' efforts," stated Jimmy Cobblah.
Following the defeat, Nations FC claimed the top spot in the league standings, while Accra Great Olympics slipped to 10th position after 24 games.
