Asante Kotoko Legend Abdul Razak Highlights Goal Scoring Struggles Amidst Recent Form Resurgence.

The ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign has posed a notable challenge for Asante Kotoko, particularly in finding the back of the net, according to club legend Abdul Razak.

Despite a recent resurgence that saw the Porcupine Warriors clinch consecutive victories following a slump in the second round, Razak observed their goal-scoring struggles firsthand as they faced Legon Cities on matchday 29 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

In a commendable display, Kotoko secured a 2-0 triumph over Legon Cities on their home ground, courtesy of goals from Steven Desse Mukwala and defender Nurudeen Yussif Mohammed.

While acknowledging the team's improved overall performance, Razak expressed disappointment over their inefficiency in converting chances into goals.

"Today's performance was an improvement compared to previous games. It's been a while since I attended a match, and frankly, the team's recent performances were not up to par. However, based on what I witnessed against Legon Cities, the performance is decent. The only area of concern is their finishing," he remarked.

Asante Kotoko currently sits in the 10th position on the Ghana Premier League table, amassing 40 points from 29 matches.
