Legon Cities coach Paa Kwesi Fabin acknowledged Asante Kotoko's enduring prowess following his team's 2-0 defeat to the Porcupine Warriors.
Despite Kotoko's earlier struggles in the second round, including a daunting seven-game winless streak featuring six losses, they have shown resilience with two wins and a draw in their last three matches.
In a notable triumph on Sunday, Kotoko clinched victory against Legon Cities, courtesy of goals from forward Steven Mukwala and defender Yussif Mohammed Nurudeen, securing three crucial points in Kumasi.
"Kotoko is consistently formidable. They have a formidable team, always displaying strength and resilience. Football is unpredictable, but Kotoko's stature remains unwavering," Fabin commented in response to the defeat.
Meanwhile, Fabin continues to steer Legon Cities towards success, leading them to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup. Additionally, the team is in a promising position to avoid relegation and aims to conclude the season strongly with five matches remaining.
