Handler of Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh Ogum spoke to StarTimes about the expectations of his side's teaming fans.
Ogum was delighted that they managed to give their supporters the best possible afternoon by beating Legon Cities on Sunday afternoon and staying in the hunt for the Premier League top four finish.
The Porcupine Warriors roared and secured a 2-0 win at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after Stephen Mukwala scored a 33rd minute penalty, Yussif Mohammed Nurudeen capped-it-off with a 50th minute goal to bag a convincing victory for Kotoko
But Ogum was thrilled that his charges managed to get over the line in a game where there was so much pressure on them to get the victory.
“Winning is what our teeming supporters always want. So once we win, they are happy and we are also happy."
After Sunday's win, Asante Kotoko have climbed to the 10th spot with 40 points, and they will next travel to the Golden City Park to nip-it-down with Berekum Chelsea in game-week 30 fixture on May 18.
