Assistant coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Godwin Ablordey, has blamed referee Daniel Laryea for their away defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered a 4-1 loss to The Crabs at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in the week 20 of the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Ablordey believes the performance of the match official was below par.
"We have accepted the defeat but the referee performance was abysmal. He had most of his decisions wrong" he told reporters
"The two penalties were dubious and even the last goal for the home side [Ebusua Dwarfs] was offside"
"One of the assistant referees was old and he couldn't even run on the lines" he concluded
Asante Kotoko will host their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
