Hearts of Oak board chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, lauds the credentials of new head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, proclaiming him as the most experienced coach the club has ever had.

Togbe Afede asserts that Ouattara's wealth of experience surpasses even that of the club's legendary figure, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio.

The announcement of Ouattara's appointment follows the dismissal of Dutch trainer Martin Koopman, with the Ivorian assuming the role of head coach after serving as the technical director of Wydad Club Athletic.

Having inked a two-and-a-half-year deal with Hearts of Oak, Ouattara has taken the reins of the team from the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking at Thursday's Annual General Meeting, Togbe Afede expresses confidence in Ouattara's abilities, stating, "We have with us a coach who is the most experienced we've ever had: Coach Ouattara. I hope his ability will help us."

Currently occupying the ninth position on the league table with 32 points, Hearts of Oak are gearing up to face Bibiani Gold Stars in their upcoming fixture this weekend, with hopes of further bolstering their position under Ouattara's leadership.
