The contenders for the prestigious NASCO Coach of the Month Award for February and March 2024 have been announced, recognizing the outstanding leadership and achievements of four top-flight coaches in the Ghana Premier League during the specified period.
Among the nominees is Kassim Mingle Ocansey from Nations FC, who guided his team to an impressive record of four victories, one defeat, and one draw in six matches. Under his stewardship, Nations FC scored seven goals and conceded only two.
Aboubakar Ouattara of Hearts of Oak has also earned a nomination for the award, steering his side to three wins in six matches. Additionally, Hearts of Oak recorded two draws and suffered one defeat, scoring a total of 11 goals while conceding 7.
Another nominee is Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso of Bibiani Gold Stars, who led his team to secure three wins out of six matches. The Western region-based club suffered one defeat and managed two draws, scoring 12 goals and conceding 7 during the period.
Completing the list of nominees is Tanko Ibrahim of Accra Lions, whose side clinched three victories in five matches, along with one draw and one loss. Accra Lions netted a total of nine goals and conceded three during February and March.
The winner of the award will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set sponsored by Electro Land Ghana Limited.
