Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has welcomed the pressure from the club’s passionate fanbase as he strives to make a significant impact in the ongoing season.

The former Premier League champions have recorded two wins, two defeats, and two draws after six matches in the top flight. Ouattara faced mounting pressure after a rocky start to the 2024/25 campaign, including a disappointing loss to debutants Basake Holy Stars and another defeat to Heart of Lions.

However, the Ivorian manager has guided the team to recover from their early struggles, securing two wins and two draws in their last four matches.

“I like the pressure from the fans. It serves as a motivation for me. The fans need the win always, so we will try to make them happy,” he stated.

Currently, Hearts of Oak sit 9th in the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 8 points from their six matches. They will face off against the struggling Dreams FC in matchday 7 of the domestic league this weekend.
