Asante Kotoko Board Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei, says the club owns Anane Boateng Sports Stadium in Abrankese.

Abrankese is known to be owned by Business mogul Kwabena Kesse, who owns Kessben Media and Multi Credit savings and loans.

The Abrankese stadium was used as the home venue for his team, Kessben FC now Medeama, but it has been used for crusade and other social activities for the ten years after he sold the football club.

Asante Kotoko have won the Ghana Premier league after eight years league title drought.

Kwame Kyei reveals that Abrankese is for Asante Kotoko because every property in the Kingdom is owned by the sole shareholder of Asante Kotoko, Otumfour.

"The stadium (Anane Boateng Sports Stadium) is for Kotoko," he revealed on Akoma FM.

"Any property in the Ashanti Region belongs to Opemsuo, eventually the stadium is owned by him and Kotoko is for him, so the stadium is Kotoko's property."

"Asante Kotoko can perform any activity there being it camping, playing of matches or any other things the club wants to do," he added.

Asante Kotoko will travel to play against Accra Lions on Sunday.
