Accra Lions FC midfielder, Abass Salifu Samari has been rated as the most valuable player in the Ghana Premier League, according to Transfer Market's updated list.

This new one was purely based on their performance in the just ended 2022/23 football season, and was just updated on June 9, 2023- that's just some couple of days ago.

Previously, it was Kotoko winger Joseph Amoako who was on top with a value of €200,000 but has now reduced to €150,000 due to his to the fact that, he couldn't play much last season.

However, high-flying Abass Salifu Samari has now taken over and has incredibly risen from €125,000 to €200,000 and is currently topping the list.

Abass Samari was very amazing and convincing with the Blue-Blacks in the just-finished season.

The 19 year old netted 9 goals in 27 games and provided two assists. He furthered on to clinch five Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards following his consistent performance and has already popped up on the radar of giants Hearts of Oak.

On the other side, Joseph Amoako who was on loan at Swedish side Helsingborg IF from Asante Kotoko, made only ten appearances in all competitions with no goal contribution- main reason why his value depreciated.

He unfortunately got accused wrongly which earned him a prison sentence in the European country but thankfully he was freed subsequently after it turned out all allegations labelled on him were all palpable fallacy.
