Accra Lions' Head Coach, Ibrahim Tanko, is determined to guide his team to victory against Aduana Stars this weekend following their 2-1 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak on November 21 in Week 11 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

In a post-match interview, Coach Tanko acknowledged the setback against Hearts of Oak but emphasized the team's commitment to moving past it and focusing on the upcoming challenge against Aduana Stars in Week 12.

Reflecting on the previous match, Tanko remarked, "I think we had a very good game. The goals they scored definitely are our fault. We have to go and prepare very well for the next game, but this is not the true reflection of the game."

Acknowledging the unpredictable nature of football, he added, "That is football; they have to score, and we know we can come back. Sometimes you do everything you can, but it is not working. They won, and we congratulate them, but we have to go back and do our homework well for the next game."

Coach Tanko's optimism shines through as he looks ahead to Sunday's match against league leaders Aduana Stars, expressing hope that Accra Lions can secure a victory and climb higher in the Ghana Premier League standings. A win in this upcoming game is crucial for Accra Lions as it could propel them further away from the relegation zone.
