Assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, Rahim Bashiru has heaped praises on his players after the win and admitted they played against a very discipline side.
The 'Phobians' got themselves back on winning ways with a 1-2 win over Accra Lions in the final fixture of Ghana Premier League match-day 11 last Tuesday afternoon.
Young sensation Hamza Issah opened the scoring account to mark his fifth of the season, Abass Samari subsequently equalised before half time and Raphael Amponsah got the winner for the giants with a beauty in the dying embers of the game.
Speaking on StarTimes after the game, the enterprising coach who stepped in after Martin Koopman's sack, lauded Lions for giving them a tough fight and believes entirely it was a good game.
"The feeling was so good I have to give thanks to the players they did so well playing a team like Accra Lions is not easy because they have a young and talented players that can juggle with the ball anytime they want," he said after the game.
"They really gave us a good game both in the first half and later part of the second half," he added.
With three wins, six draws and two loses, Hearts of Oak are currently on the 9th position on the log with 15 points.
They will host Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, in Accra, in match-day 12.
