Accra Lions have completed the signing of former AshantiGold SC defender Ali Mohammed in this transfer window.
Mohammed has joined the Capital based outfit on a three-year contract from relegated Premier League side Tamale City for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old is expected to add experience, stability and leadership qualities to the club as Lions seek to make a meaningful impact in the forthcoming campaign.
The club's official statement reads "Accra Lions agreed a deal with defender Ali Mohammed. The former Ashanti Gold and Tamale City player is poised to add experience, stability and leadership qualities to our young team. Welcome to Accra Lions, Ali!,"
He becomes Accra Lions' third signing in the transfer window, joining forward Yahaya Mohammed and Abdul-Shakun Abubakari.
Accra Lions are looking to improve on their performance in the Ghana Premier League in this season after surviving a relegation scare last term.
