The Capital based club have completed the acquisition of the former Tamale City attacker for an undisclosed fee.
Ghana Premier League outfit Accra Lions have announced the signing of Yahaya Mohammed until the end of the 2025/26 season's campaign.
The 18-year-old centre-forward signed a three-year contract with Accra Lions after passing a mandatory medical examination few weeks ago.
The club's official statement reads “Accra Lions Football Club can confirm the signing of striker Yahaya Mohammed.”
“We have moved to bolster our attacking options with a very promising talent. Yahaya became a teenage sensation after scoring 17 goals in 22 Division One League matches in 2022. The lanky striker joins us from Tamale City FC.”
Yahaya Mohammed, who was part of the Tamale City squad in the Ghana Premier League last season, scored four goals in 24 appearances for the relegated Premier League side in their debut campaign.
He is currently a member of the Ghana U20 national team.
