Bernard Somuah, a highly-rated young winger, has officially joined the ranks of Asante Kotoko SC, as reported by Sportsworldghana.com.
During the club's pre-season preparations, this promising winger caught the attention of the technical team led by Prosper Narteh Ogum, following his participation in training sessions.
Prior to his affiliation with Asante Kotoko, Somua was an active player for Anointing FC, a Colts side based in Kronum Afrancho, situated within the Ashanti Region.
His standout performance came during Asante Kotoko's recent dominant victory of 5-1 against Cornerstone FC. Notably, Somua showcased his skills by scoring twice during the match, which took place at the Dr. K.K Sarpong Stadium in Beposo on a Sunday.
Functioning as an electrifying winger, Somua consistently posed a significant threat to the Cornerstone defense. This led to him receiving recognition and admiration from the attending fans.
Clearly, his dynamic and impressive display on the field has resulted in him securing a contract with Kotoko. He will now contribute to the upcoming Kotoko Youth Team, which is set to launch soon. This marks a continuation of his football journey with the esteemed club.
