Accra Hearts of Oak have terminated the contract of youngster, Clinton Appiah after a very short spell with the club, Kickgh.com can reveal authoritatively.
The 18-year-old in the last January transfer window, joined Hearts of Oak on a long term contract after an impressive display with lower-division side Lazio FC.
He caught the good eyes of Serbian gaffer Slavko Matic who recommended his signing during his tenure but unfortunately was jettisoned so soon, retarding the youngster from getting much playing time.
He made only eight competitive appearances for the Rainbow Club in the second phase of last season, and was introduced from the bench on most occasions.
With this, Hearts of Oak added Clinton Appiah to the list of players they parted ways with ahead of the new season as part of their squad rebuilding process.
The enterprising middleman is a freeman and is now at liberty to join any club of his choice with the window still opened.
