Collins Attah Poku, Chief Executive Officer of Aduana FC, says the club has set its sights on a top-four finish in the Ghana Premier League and a first-ever FA Cup title as part of its ambitions for the 2025/26 season.
The two-time league champions have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, currently leading the standings with 18 points after eight matches.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Attah Poku revealed that the club’s management has laid down firm goal for the season and has charged the team to restore their dominance on the local scene by winning the league title and add new silverware to their trophy cabinet.
“The target is to finish in the top four. We have never won the FA Cup before, and so we have targeted winning that,” he said.
He added that Aduana’s leadership is determined to revive the winning spirit that defined their past successes, particularly their last league title eight years ago.
“The last time we won the title was in 2017, so we met as a management and we decided winning, finishing in the top and winning the FA Cup are our targets,” Attah Poku explained.
Aduana will look to build on their fine form when they host Medeama SC at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Saturday, as they aim to maintain their grip at the top of the table and continue their push for the league title.
