Aduana FC head coach Cioba Aristica says his side will walk into Sunday’s clash with Asante Kotoko full of confidence and without fear as they prepare for a major early-season test at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The league leaders arrive in strong form, winning four straight matches and stretching their unbeaten run to five following a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Medeama SC last weekend.

Aduana’s defensive solidity has been central to their rise. They have conceded just one goal in their last five outings and boast the joint second-best defensive record this season, scoring nine and allowing only four.

“Sunday is a big test, no doubt,” Aristica said. “We are going into a tough ground against a tough opponent. We’ve worked too hard, grown too much, and shown too much quality to walk into any stadium with doubt.”

Asante Kotoko, guided by Abdul Karim Zito, remain unbeaten in the league and head into the encounter after a narrow 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak and a 0-0 draw against Vision FC.

Kotoko sit seventh with 15 points from seven matches and still have two games in hand — fixtures that could elevate them quickly into the top positions.

The Porcupine Warriors also enjoy a slight psychological advantage, having beaten Aduana in three of their last five home meetings, with one draw and one defeat in that run.
