Aduana FC have completed the signing of defensive midfielder Godfred Boakye from Vision FC on a three-year contract, the Ghana Premier League club confirmed on Monday.
Boakye, 22, joins the two-time Ghanaian champions after a strong campaign in the GPL with Vision FC, where he featured in 22 league matches.
The move marks a significant step up for the midfield dazzler, who is expected to strengthen Aduana’s midfield depth ahead of the 2024–25 season.
“Godfred Boakye Joins Aduana FC! We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Godfred Boakye on a three-year deal from Vision FC. Welcome to the Fire family, Boakye!,” the club said in a post on X.
Boakye becomes Aduana's latest major signing of the transfer window as the Fire Boys look to bolster its squad after finishing the league on 10th position last season.
