Ghanaian defender Riis Opoku Twumasi has signed for Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol, Aduana FC have confirmed.
"Riis Opoku Twumasi joins Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol. Best of luck, Riis!" the Fire club posted on social media.
The 19-year-old joined Aduana from Berekum Chelsea shortly before the start of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season but will now continue his career in Eastern Europe.
Twumasi, who has represented Ghana at youth level, built a reputation in the domestic league for his composure and strength. His performances attracted attention from scouts and ultimately paved the way for his move abroad.
Sheriff Tiraspol, a regular participant in European inter-club competitions, will be hoping the youngster can further strengthen their defensive lines this season.
