Yaw Acheampong, the head coach of Aduana Stars FC, exudes confidence despite facing key player injuries leading up to their showdown with Accra Hearts of Oak. 

Set to unfold on Friday, May 17th, at the Accra Sports Stadium in matchweek 30 of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season, the fixture promises high stakes. 

 

Despite Aduana's recent goalless draw against Accra Lions, extending their winless streak to three games, Acheampong remains optimistic. 

 

Reflecting on their tactical performance, particularly in the face of adversity, he stressed the importance of adaptability and teamwork. 

 

“It was a very difficult game but tactically I’m very happy with the performance today.

 

Acheampong remarked. Looking ahead to the clash with Hearts of Oak, he expressed satisfaction with his team's current play and highlighted the opportunity to address injury concerns before the pivotal match. 

 

“Sometimes you play with what you have…as you can see today, it’s not about position, it’s about playing a role.

 

“Our next game is against Hearts here and I’m happy with the play today…we will have much time to work on the injured players and see if they can come and join us against Hearts.”
