Aduana Stars gaffer, Cioabă Aristică has expressed excitement towards his side’s vital away win at Heart of Lions last Friday and feels it’s the unity and cohesion that’s helping them fly high so far in the ongoing campaign.
The ‘Ogya’ lads delivered a top-tier performance to narrowly edge the Giant Killers by 1-0 at the Kpando Sports Stadium in a thrilling match-day 14 opener of the Ghana Premier League.
The game was very even right from onset with both teams coming up at each other in a very dramatic fashion but Patrick Mensah’s goal in the 50th minute from a very tight angle made the difference in the end.
Speaking in post-match interview, the Romanian tactician described the game as a very tactical one but then he is excited with the general performance of the team to pick their third away win this campaign
“I see the confidence from the players, and I told them that if we respect the tactics, we can pick all three points. Congratulations to the players for trusting the plan and going on to win the game.
“Aduana FC, the team is working as a group, and they understand what we need in the game. I’m happy about this win. The game was very tactical, and it was very good,” Aristica Cioaba said.
Aduana Stars after their eighth win of the season have returned to the summit of the table with 27 points and will be up for a difficult task next against giants Hearts of Oak
