Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars parted ways with their head coach over the weekend following their defeat to Asante Kotoko at home and are now desperate on getting a successor with three names already under consideration.
The two-time Ghanaian champions have been shambolic and abysmal since the commencement of the ongoing campaign and are really trying harder to patch up all cracks as quick as possible to get back on track.
In spite of that, the 'Ogya' lads sacked their head coach Yaw Acheampong after the round 12 games over the weekend in what is mainly described as poor performance and are currently on the lookout for a replacement.
According to the club's Spokesperson Evans Oppong, they have already shortlisted three names and are looking forward to appointing the perfect fit for the vacant role in Dormaa in the coming days. He told Ghanasoccernet.com;
“We are considering three coaches. Two locals and one foreign but it is likely we will go in for a local coach. We will name a new coach within this week”
Aduana Stars are currently with two wins, six draws and four loses after twelve games as they currently occupy the 14th spot with 12 points on the league log.
They will return into action this Sunday, December 1, to face city-rivals Dormaa Unity SC in round 64 of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup.
