Former Great Olympics head coach Annor Walker has praised Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah, describing him as a talented player after his standout performances in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Amoah has been one of the season's top performers, grabbing the headlines for scoring the winning goal in Kotoko’s 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Reflecting on how he discovered Amoah, Walker shared, "During my time at Great Olympics, we played a match in Koforidua, and I spotted Albert Amoah playing for Kwaebibirem United FC. I immediately told my technical team to sign him."
"He joined Olympics and proved to be a great player, though we couldn't stay together for long. Albert Amoah is a talented individual, and I’m not surprised by his early success at Asante Kotoko," Walker added.
Amoah will look to maintain his impressive form when the Black Galaxies face Nigeria in the qualifiers for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
