Swedru All Blacks assistant coach Joseph Agyemang has described the club’s 2-1 victory over Asante Kotoko in a thrilling 2026/27 Ghana Premier League match-week 6 clash.
The ‘Ozii Ozaa’ outfit secured all three points at the Swedru Sports Stadium, extending their impressive recent record against the Porcupine Warriors.
Agyemang said the victory was particularly satisfying because the team managed to deliver despite playing without their head coach, whom he wished a speedy recovery.
“I can say that this is a very important win. Looking at the league log, this win will boost our confidence. We played without our head coach but still played well to win for him and we wish him speedy recovery,” he said.
The assistant coach also praised the players for their performance and acknowledged the supporters for turning out in numbers to cheer the team to victory.
“Kotoko kept on attacking with more men upfront and we also tried to study their game and find loopholes in their game,” Agyemang explained.
Swedru All Blacks will now prepare to host Karela United in their next league fixture.
