Enterprising midfielder Appiah McCarthy has signed a one-year contract extension with Bibiani Gold Stars FC, the Ghana Premier League (GPL) club confirmed on Tuesday.
The new deal keeps the 28-year-old at the newly crowned GPL champions until June 2026.
McCarthy has been a key figure in Gold Stars’ midfield since joining from Ashanti Gold SC, and his extension is seen as a boost to the team’s plans ahead of the new season and their debut CAF Champions League campaign.
