Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has revealed his starting lineup for the highly anticipated Ghana Premier League match against defending champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Len Clay Stadium this afternoon.
Kotoko, currently second in the league standings with 11 points from five games, are unbeaten so far this season. They have secured three wins and two draws, with an outstanding match against Legon Cities yet to be played. The team has been solid at home, winning two and drawing one of their first three home league games, and will aim to maintain their impressive home record today.
Coach Prosper Ogum has opted for a balanced lineup, with Frederick Asare starting in goal. The defense is anchored by Joseph Ablorh and Justice Blay in central positions, with Lord Amoah on the right and Patrick Asiedu on the left. Samba O'Neil adds further stability in the center-back role.
In midfield, Ntim Manu will take on the defensive duties, while Emmanuel Antwi and Michael Kyei Dwamena are expected to drive play forward and control the tempo of the match. Up front, the attack will be led by Elvis Kyei Baffour and Albert Amoah, who will look to break down the FC Samartex defense and secure all three points for Kotoko.
