Asante Kotoko have announced their 20-man squad for the upcoming Ghana Premier League Matchweek 26 encounter against Heart of Lions on Sunday.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has included two goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and four forwards in his matchday selection as the Porcupine Warriors seek to maintain their place at the top of the league table.
Mohammed Camara and Frederick Asare have been named as the two options between the sticks, with Camara expected to retain his place after a string of consistent performances in recent games.
The defensive unit includes Daniel Adjetey, who scored the winning goal in the midweek clash against Berekum Chelsea, alongside Patrick Asiedu, Michael Sefah, Henry Ansu, Samba O’Neil, and Joseph Ablor.
Justice Blay headlines the midfield selection, supported by Samuel Tenadu, Kyei Dwamena, Andrews Ntim Manu, Emmanuel Antwi, and Baba Yahaya — all set to provide creativity and stability in the middle of the park.
Kotoko’s attacking options include in-form striker Sampson Eduku and Isaac Mintah, alongside Elvis Kyei Baffour, Peter Amidu Acquah, Albert Amoah, and Kwame Opoku, who is aiming to rediscover his scoring touch.
The Porcupine Warriors currently lead the Ghana Premier League standings with 45 points after 24 matches and will be eager to maintain momentum as the title race heats up. Their opponents, Heart of Lions, who occupies the third position with 40 points are fighting for the title and will present a stern test on home turf.
Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at the Kpando Stadium.
