Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko are expected to arrive at the Kotoka International Airport this afternoon after a short preseason tour in Sudan.
The team engaged themselves in four international friendly matches of which they recorded no win, having lost three and drew one
They lost back to back to Sudanese champions Al Hilal Omdurman in their opening two matches in the space of two days. Again, they slipped to another embarrassing defeat to Tanzanian giants Simba SC before wrapping up with a draw against Al Ahli Khatourm few days ago.
Kickgh.com understands that, Asante Kotoko will touch down in the country by the close of this afternoon to continue with their preparations towards the new season.
Asante Kotoko will be traveling to Ivory Coast to battle it out with RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso in the first leg tie of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League preliminary round.
