Ghana Football Association(GFA) President, Kurt Okraku insists that it's not the job of the GFA to ensure that supporters come to the stadium to watch games.

Low stadia attendance have been a major challenge of the Ghanaian top-flight.

Giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have bemoaned low turnouts at their home matches.

Last season, Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer(CEO)  Nana Yaw Amponsah lamented about the low patronage of their matches.

The BetPawa Premier League is scheduled to kick off next weekend.

During the GFA Congress at Prampram, Kurt Okraku insists that it's not the work of the Association to ensure that supporters come to the stadia.

"Our fans are not consuming our football, they are absent in our venues. It’s not the responsibility of the FA to ensure fans troop to the stadium. The clubs must be practical, and proactive and put up strategies to bring back the fans. Go down the streets and speak to them, listen to them, and know their concerns. If you fail to bring the fans sponsors like betPawa and Malta Guineas will not come on board”.
