Cameroonian striker, Georges Mfegue Omgba, is rumored to be on the radar of Hearts of Oak as the summer transfer window approaches, according to reports from Kickgh.com.
Mfegue, currently with Asante Kotoko, is poised to depart the club as a free agent at the end of the season, with the Porcupines opting not to renew his contract.
Sources suggest that Hearts of Oak are keen on bringing the 26-year-old to the capital to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Despite a challenging season at Kotoko, where has he featured in just 12 games without scoring, Mfegue's potential move to Hearts of Oak could reignite his career.
Having joined Kotoko from Avion FC in October 2021, Mfegue played a crucial role in securing the team's 25th GPL title, contributing eight goals and four assists in his first season, followed by three goals in his second season.
