The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Asante Kotoko has reportedly issued a clear mandate to head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, urging him to secure seven points from the next three Ghana Premier League games.

This directive follows Kotoko's much-needed 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars at Nana Agyemang Badu Park, which ended a five-match winless streak. Despite the win, the Porcupine Warriors' inconsistent performances this season have kept coach Ogum under intense scrutiny.

In a strategic move to allow Ogum to focus solely on his coaching duties, the club recently relieved him of his position on the Interim Management Committee, a decision backed by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace.

With the pressure mounting, Ogum now faces a pivotal period in charge of the club. He has been tasked with securing seven points from a possible nine in their upcoming fixtures against archrivals Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC, and Bibiani Goldstars.

Currently sitting 7th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 18 points from 12 matches, Asante Kotoko will look to build on their recent victory and push for higher positioning in the league.
