Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko are pursuing a deal to sign former Nsoatreman FC winger Foster Apetorgbor, a source with knowledge of the negotiations told Kickgh.com on Thursday.
The highly-rated wide man is currently a free agent after parting ways with Nsoatreman at the end of the 2024/25 season. His performances in the first half of the campaign drew interest from several top-flight clubs.
“Kotoko have made initial contact with Apetorgbor's representatives,” the source said. “Talks are ongoing, but no agreement has been reached yet.”
Apetorgbor joined Nsoatreman from Asekem FC and quickly became a key figure in the club’s attacking unit. He was instrumental in their Ghana FA Cup triumph two seasons ago, scoring the decisive penalty in a win over Bofoakwa Tano.
Kotoko, 24-time champions of Ghana, are rebuilding their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season following an underwhelming GPL campaign.
