Former Great Olympics and Inter Allies goalkeeper Saeed Salifu is expected to sign for newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The seasoned goalkeeper, who also previously played for Akosombo-based Krystal Palace, has been unattached since parting ways with Great Olympics at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season and is now poised to make a return to top-tier football.
Salifu, 28, formerly represented Inter Allies during their Premier League stint before moving to Great Olympics, where he recorded six clean sheets in 12 appearances during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season. That campaign saw Olympics finish sixth with 52 points.
Hohoe United are strengthening their squad ahead of their debut campaign in the Ghanaian top flight following promotion earlier this year.
