New Asante Kotoko signing Walid Fuseini, popularly known as “Neymar,” has expressed his determination to showcase his quality at the highest level after sealing a move to the Kumasi-based giants.

The 25-year-old versatile midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal earlier this week, arriving as a free agent following the dissolution of his former club, Nsoatreman FC.

Fuseini, who is capable of operating as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder, or wide man, believes Kotoko is the ideal platform to cement his status in Ghanaian football.

“I want to prove that I belong at the very top, and there’s no better place to do that than at Asante Kotoko if you want to play in Ghana,” he told the club’s media team.

With 81 Ghana Premier League appearances under his belt, along with four outings in the CAF Confederation Cup, Fuseini brings a blend of domestic and continental experience to Kotoko’s midfield.

He began his professional career with Bolga All Stars, where he earned a reputation as a technically gifted and hard-working player. Over the years, his consistency and maturity have seen him develop into one of the league’s more reliable midfielders.

Kotoko view his arrival as a key addition as they continue to rebuild their squad ahead of the new season, with the club banking on his pedigree and versatility to strengthen their title ambitions.
