Asante Kotoko have made contact with Real Tamale United over the possibility of signing David Sandan Abagna, who scored nine Ghana Premier League goals for the Pride of the North last season.
Abagna is expected to be the big name to leave the Tamale-based club before the start of the 2022/23 season.
Kickgh.com understands that Asante Kotoko are locked down in negotiations with RTU and will annouce the signing of the deadly attacker in the coming days.
The Pride of the North finished 15th in the Ghana Premier League last season.
Abagna who previously played for Wa All Stars and Ashantigold, signed for hometown club Real Tamale United in 2021 on a three-year deal.
