Asante Kotoko have already started talks to renew midfielder, Mohammed Sherrif’s contract.
The 22-year-old has few months left on his current deal.
The defensive midfielder who joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side, Steadfast Academy in 2021 is willing to renew his stay with the Porcupines.
The box-box midfielder missed most part of the second round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season after he was involve in motor accident in tamale.
He managed 16 games for Kotoko in the just-ended season, scoring twice with one assist before his accident.
In all, he has featured 61 times in the league for Kotoko, scoring twice with four assists.
