Asante Kotoko have officially submitted an offer to former Great Olympics captain Razak Kasim, as they aim to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

The Porcupines are keen to bolster their defensive midfield options and have identified Kasim as the ideal candidate for the role.

The 30-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent after leaving Great Olympics at the end of the season and has expressed interest in making a move during the ongoing transfer window.

Talks have already begun between Kotoko and Kasim, with the Ghanaian midfielder hoping to reach an agreement with the club.

Hearts of Oak are also reportedly interested in the player, but it appears that Kotoko have made the first move by submitting an official offer.

Kasim featured in 30 games for Great Olympics in the just-ended season, showcasing his skills and versatility in midfield.

If he joins Kotoko, he will be looking to make a big impact in the Ghana Premier League next season.
