Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has become a target for several clubs following his outstanding performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Since joining the Porcupine Warriors from Great Olympics during the summer transfer window, Amoah has been a standout performer. The 22-year-old has established himself as Kotoko’s key player this season, netting six goals as the team pushes to reclaim the league title.
Reports indicate that multiple clubs abroad have expressed strong interest in acquiring Amoah’s services. However, Asante Kotoko is reportedly unwilling to consider any transfer offers until the end of the season, emphasizing his importance to their current campaign.
Amoah is under contract with Kotoko until 2027, having signed a three-year deal earlier this year. His contributions will be crucial as the club navigates the competitive league campaign.
Currently in 7th place on the league table with 18 points, Kotoko trails leaders Bibiani Goldstars by five points after 12 matches. The club is also looking to strengthen its squad during the second transfer window as it intensifies its quest for the Ghana Premier League title.
