Asante Kotoko has reportedly sacked video analyst Boudjabi Nazim Mohammed Islam, according to Kessben Sports.
The decision was made following the settlement of two out of three months' worth of salary arrears owed to the Algerian analyst by the Kumasi-based club.
Nazim had been absent from active duty at the club since an altercation with a police officer in Dormaa several months ago during a BetPawa Premier League match between Aduana and Kotoko.
Reports from the local media suggested that the Algerian analyst had been involved in a physical altercation with the police officer following a misunderstanding off the pitch during the matchday.
Since then, Nazim had not been actively fulfilling his responsibilities, particularly following the dismissal of coach Seydou Zerbo.
Kessben Sports have revealed that Nazim had been staying in Ghana for the past few weeks, awaiting the settlement of his salary arrears before his departure.
According to insiders at the club, the outstanding two months' worth of salary owed to Nazim were cleared over the weekend. The source also revealed that Nazim has since returned to Algeria.
Kotoko appointed the Algerian analyst in September 2022, a month after the appointment of Coach Seydou Zerbo.
