Legon Cities' head coach, Maxwell Konadu, maintains a positive outlook on his team's chances of avoiding relegation in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Despite a narrow loss to Bechem United on matchday 31 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Konadu is confident that Legon Cities can secure their survival.

Currently sitting 11th in the league with 40 points and three games remaining, he believes in their ability to remain in the top flight.

"We will survive; we just need to find a way. Legon Cities will overcome relegation," affirmed Konadu.

Looking forward, the former coach of Kotoko has set his sights on claiming a victory against Hearts of Oak in their upcoming fixture. Acknowledging the challenge, he emphasized the team's determination to deliver their best performance.

"We can also defeat Hearts of Oak and move forward. It's a game where you visit someone's home, and they do their best to defeat you, so we will also strive to beat Hearts of Oak. We have no choice but to defeat Hearts of Oak," stated Konadu with unwavering determination.
