Emmanuel Nettey has reacted to Hearts of Oak's disgraceful 5-1 defeat to Medeama in Accra, insisting that "This is not their Hearts of Oak".

The Rainbow lads started, somehow, strongly and were certain they were going to win in front of their fans, but the match took a nosedive from the 17th minute, which saw the defense and attacking power of the team stutter.

The former Hearts midfielder who is currently in the books of Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Sahel, watched as his beloved Phobia was heavily disgraced by the Yellow and Mauves.

"This is not our Hearts of Oak," Nettey wrote on Twitter with a heartbreak emoji.

Insatiable mistakes from Hearts backline handed an ultimately unassailable victory to Medeama, with goals from Derrick Fordjour, Vincent Atingah, Jonathan Sowah (brace) and Kwesi Donsu.

Hearts of Oak scored their goal through Ibrahim Salifu who swiftly converted a spotkick, to level the score at 1-1.
