Asante Kotoko centre-back Sheriff Mohammed has been handed a call-up to the Black Galaxies for the upcoming tournament following his exploits in the Ghana Premier League.
Mohammed has been a standout performer in the Red's shirt since his arrival at the club from lower-tier side EurAfrica FC in August.
The 20-year-old has established himself at the back line of the Porcupine Warriors and managed to feature in all the eight league games for the Kumasi-based club.
He joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from EurAfrica FC for an undisclosed fee.
