Asante Kotoko is set to move their pre-season preparations from Kumasi to Cape Coast as they gear up for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season. 

With the aim of having a successful campaign, the Porcupine Warriors are leaving no stone unturned as they prepare to compete for domestic honors.

After spending two weeks training at their Adako Jachie facility in Kumasi, the team will shift their base to the Central Region. The move is scheduled for Thursday, August 15th, 2024, following their league match against Medeama SC.

Once in Cape Coast, Asante Kotoko will spend two weeks in intensive training and play a series of warm-up matches to fine-tune their squad.

The first of these matches will see Kotoko face off against Premier League side Gold Stars on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. This will be followed by a match against Division One club Hohoe FC on Sunday, August 25th, 2024.

The pre-season camp in Cape Coast is designed to give the team an opportunity to work on tactics, build team chemistry, and sharpen their skills before the league kicks off.

After wrapping up their stay in Cape Coast, Asante Kotoko will return to Kumasi on Monday, August 30th, 2024, to continue their preparations.

The team will then travel to Tamale for their opening match of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season against Karela United.
