Asante Kotoko have reportedly already decided to release fifteen underperforming players, including former WAFA star Richmond Lamptey, following the club's uninspiring performance in the just ended 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors will offload the 15 players as the club seeks to rebuild their squad for next season.
The club’s management are said to have approved the decision to weed out the listed players.
The players set to leave are: Samuel Asamoah, Ofori Ziggy, Isaac Oppong, Poutey Moise, Danlad Ibrahim (Expiration of contract), Augustine Agyapong, Yayaha Dawuni, Nicholas Mensah, Sheriff Mohammed (Defender), Kalou Ouattara, John Tedeku, Ishaaku Fuseini, Steven Mukwala (Expiration of contract), Richmond Lamptey (Expiration of contract), and Nana Benyin Amoah.
