This decision came after the King's visit to the training grounds, accompanied by club legends and supporters.
To carry out the assessment, an Architectural firm has been appointed, and the evaluation is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 24, 2024. Following the assessment, the firm will present recommendations to the King, outlining the necessary steps to be taken concerning the buildings.
The two buildings in question were initially constructed by Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong with the purpose of serving as a two-storey changing room and offices for the Technical staff. Regrettably, since Dr. Sarpong's departure from office in 2013, these buildings have remained unused and neglected.
In addition to expressing gratitude to Dr. Kwame Kyei's led Board for their three years of service to Asanteman, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has established an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the club's affairs.
The IMC includes Nana Apinkra Awua, Kontomponiafere, and chartered accountant, Kwasi Appiah, a club legend and former National team coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, Head Coach, and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, Administrative Manager.
